If you have made the decision to step away from what many people think of as “normal food 'and made a commitment to become a true Vegan, then sooner or later, you will be introduced to juicing as a meal option.

There are many benefits to this type of meal. Not the least is ease of preparation. How much more simple can it get from cutting up your favorite fruits and vegetables, dropping them in a juice machine, you have a strong and nourishing meal?

There are also a huge variety of herbs and spices, and even dietary, vegan friendly supplements available. Some experts have even stated that as a true vegan, you can get away with never turning on your oven or stove. But by using the juicing option as a vegan does have some drawbacks. Not many, though.

In this series of articles, I will explore, with you, the ease, the options, the equipment needed and even the drawbacks of jumping 100% on the juicing bandwagon. You should think wrong of me. Juicing is a very good tool to use to ensure a proper balance of nutrients, amino acids, vitamins and minerals in your diet. Just use it in restraint.

I would also like to show you some creative change-ups that you can use to keep an interesting variety in your juices. There is nothing exotic or ridiculously expensive. All, or most, of them are available available in most grocery stores with a decent produce section. But with just a few additions, you can make that carrot juice 'Wow' your taste buds, or that apple juice blend really excite your palate and have you coming up with your very own twists on flavors.

So let's take a look at juicing for a true vegan.
